ORAL HISTORY PROJECT
As part of our 80th anniversary celebrations HDG-Artists is undertaking an oral history project.
That our group has continued for so long is a testament to the many members who have contributed to it over the last 80 years.
This project will preserve the stories of our members - talking about their lives, their art, and the role the HDG has played for them - and make these stories available via our website for everyone to hear and, eventually, to read.

Congratulations to Kim Woolley for taking home two awards from the recent THECA Exhibition! Kim was the People's Choice - Most popular Artwork for her "Tawny Frogmouth Chicks". She was also the People's Choice - Most Popular Artist. Her love for koalas, and an excursion to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, was the inspiration for "Sleeping Koala" and sketches below.

At the recently held RQAS Members Annual, Christine was awarded 1st place in the category, All Other Media, for her beautiful, linocut painting, "Venice". She was thrilled to also sell the piece. Congratulations, Christine!
