The Half Dozen Group of Artists 83rd Annual Exhibition
Half Dozen Group of Artists is proudly presenting its 83rd annual exhibition this August at Richard Randall Studio, Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens. Running from Friday 2 to Tuesday 6 August 2024, this popular annual event is FREE to attend.
All are welcome at the Official Opening on Saturday night, 3 August at 6.30 pm. The speaker will be Anna Reynolds. Anna is an artist and former journalist, a HDG-Artists life member, and Brisbane Portrait Prize founder and chair.

HDG-Studio Open Day and Mini-Exhibition
HDG-Artists are hosting an Open Studio on Saturday July 27 from 10am to 2pm to provide an opportunity for the public to see the mini-exhibition ''What is abstraction?". The mini-exhibition comprises abstract works and artistic explorations by the Tuesday group of artists. Members will be available to answer any questions you have about art and our studio. Please drop by to find out what we have on offer!
The HDG-Studio is located in a charming old building leased from the Brisbane City Council at 37 Quarry Road, Sherwood.
Watercolour & Pastels workshop - Flowers and Gardens
Our next professional workshop will be tutored by Master Pastellist Tricia Taylor. It will be an impressionistic watercolour and pastel workshop focusing on flowers and gardens and is bound to be a wonderful creative experience.
Saturday, 24 August 2024 from 10am to 3pm.
Members $60. Non-members $70. (FULLY BOOKED)
