All regular workshops are untutored sessions. If you would like the opportunity to develop your skills at your own pace or just to create your art within in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, these workshops are for you!

- Professional models - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday workshops. Tuesday workshops- BYO projects to work on.
- All workshops are held at the HDG-Studio, 37 Quarry Rd, Sherwood - with the exception of the monthly Accessible Art Workshop and the monthly Plein Air workshop (contact Helen - see above- for location).
- All workshops generally offer a 15-30 minute break halfway through. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.
- Easels, backing boards, tables, chairs/stools are provided. Just bring the materials you want to use (pencils, paint, paper, canvas, etc). If using oil paints we request only odourless solvents be used.
- Drawing paper is available for purchase - White or Brown Craft: 50 cents per sheet.
- Payment - We accept cash or EFTPOS payments. *Payments by card attract a small additional merchant fee.
- On your first attendance please arrive early so that the convenor can help you settle in and familiarise you with the studio and workshop details.
HDG-Artists welcomes all who enjoy art, you don't have to be a member to try out our workshops!

COVID-19 and other Viral illnesses
HDG-Artists continues to monitor advice regarding COVID-19 so requests all attendees to our studio, workshops and events as follows:
If you have flu or cold-like symptoms please don't attend workshops until you are free of symptoms and testing negative (if the illness is Covid)
Vulnerable people may choose to wear a mask. Please respect their choice.
