ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kim Woolley is a local artist, illustrator and member of the Half Dozen Group of Artists. She has a background in educational publishing and has illustrated over 60 books for various publishers and magazines. She has also painted numerous murals, including designing the one on the back of the HDG Studio. Her most recent project was an interactive community pathway mural for children at Cawonga Park in Oxley. Animals and the natural world have been a lifelong interest for Kim. Over the past few years she has produced lots of artwork featuring native animals and has won several awards for her work. If you are equally obsessed by wildlife then this is the workshop for you! ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
In this workshop we will be studying a variety of wildlife, identifying the shape, structure and unique characteristics of each animal. Kim will be sharing and demonstrating her tips and techniques for portraying the texture of fur, feathers and scales, using charcoal and pastels. Registration required by Mon 15 July ‘24.
